What is the ruling wearing a wedding ring or engagement ring?

In this condition, the ring had become illegitimate, because it is an act depend on something that no foundation in law or sensory (no causal relationship) .1Similarly, male applicants should not put it in the hands of his fiancée woman because the woman is merely engaged and not become his wife after such applications. Then she was still a woman ajnabiyyah (not mahram) to him, because it is not officially become a wife unless the marriage ceremony.
